5. Philadelphia 76ers @ Los Angeles Lakers – November 15th

Lonzo Ball vs Markelle Fultz, No. 1 pick vs. No. 2 pick. The first chapter of their budding rivalry will certainly be something everyone wants to watch. The two never faced off in college as Fultz’s Huskies went 9-20 and did not even come close to making the NCAA tournament, while Lonzo achieved much more team success, leading the Bruins to the Sweet 16.

Both the 76ers and the Lakers are young teams with promising cores, their first-round selections this year will be leading their respective offenses into a new era. The Lakers young core consists of former Duke small forward Brandon Ingram, power forward Julius Randle, combo guard Jordan Clarkson and of course, Ball.

Philadelphia’s young core has some more length to it in Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Dario Saric and the man they traded up for, Fultz.

In what will be the first matchup of the season of two future powerhouses, everyone will want to see the beginnings of future, which makes it a must-see game. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN at 10:30 ET/7:30 PT.
