2. Boston Celtics @ Cleveland Cavaliers – October 17th

Just as the trade happened, this game found its way on to this list. In case you missed it, Kyrie Irving was traded to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and Brooklyn’s 2018 first-round pick. This trade shocked the NBA world because very few considered the Celtics a destination for Irving. Now with the trade, a game that was already interesting has become must-see.

Similar to how the Celtics vs. Jazz game was centered around Hayward, this one will be around Irving. The Celtics now have an even bigger 3 with the addition of Kyrie to the cast of Hayward and Al Horford. Cleveland received a similar player to Kyrie, a starter in Crowder and a player for the future in Zizic. Not to mention, Brooklyn’s first round pick which most likely will be no lower than top 5.

In what is a recurring theme, Kyrie will return to Cleveland to face his former team in the season opener. However, Thomas may also feel wronged by Boston after he poured his heart and soul into the team only to be traded. Kyrie and IT’s battle will certainly be must-see. The game will come on TNT at 8:00 pm ET/ 5:00 pm PT.
