18. Doc Rivers, LA Clippers

This may be a shock to some people, but Doc Rivers is the 18th best head coach in the NBA. Year after year Doc continues to look promising in the regular season, and then let us down when it matters most; the postseason.

There is no excuse for never reaching a Conference Finals while with the Clippers with three All-NBA team guys on your roster. He hasn’t shown the ability to make his current players co-exist on a year to year basis, and maybe a lot of his head coaching woes the past four years have been due to having too much responsibility.

This summer, Doc was relieved of his front office duties. I think this will be very beneficial to the head coaching side of Rivers, and L.A. will need it with a totally different looking roster in 2018.
