NBA: Ranking all 30 head coaches ahead of the 2017-18 season

14. Tyronn Lue, Cleveland Cavaliers

Tyronn Lue is coaching the best player on planet earth who is surrounded by two top 25 players in the league. Some might say Lue at 14 seems too low, but I would argue he has underachieved as Cleveland’s head coach.

His resume looks great on paper with one ring, and three NBA Finals appearances, but he has made some questionable in-game decisions and made some mistakes personnel wise when it matters most (back to back to back finals series’).

It is a blessing to step in as head coach after a Blatt firing and coach the world’s greatest to three finals in a row. If the rumors are true and LeBron flees else where after 2018, this could really highlight the flaws Lue has as an NBA head coach.
