There is no surprise here, and since this is no surprise to anyone, that says something about coach Pop. He is the epitome of consistency and greatness. He has five NBA Championships dating back to his debut as head coach in 1997.

He has accumulated 1150 wins in 1656 total games. Every time his team takes the court, he has nearly a 70 percent chance of winning that game. If you take away the lockout years, Pop has never had a team win less than 50 games in the regular season.

That is greatness. His interview skills are hilarious, his intensity towards his veterans never alters, and his demand out of role players is what continues to set the bar so high for San Antonio. Pop is a one of a kind personality and is the greatest head coach in the National Basketball Association.
