27. Nate McMillan, Indiana Pacers
Nate McMillan has a lot of the same problems that Fred Hoiberg has. His roster is too talented to sneak into the playoffs as the seventh seed. Some would argue that Nate has a top 10 NBA player on his roster in Paul George.
The year before McMillan took over in Indiana, Frank Vogel took a nearly identical team to a season with three more regular season wins, and forced a Game 7 in the first round of the playoffs. In 2017, McMillan and the Pacers were swept in the first round by the greatest player on earth and the rest of the Cavs.
Heading into 2018, Nate’s roster has gotten noticeably worse by losing a top 15 player in exchange for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis. You might see his face looking like the picture above a lot more.
