Toronto Raptors

DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry are all-stars and for the past two seasons they’ve shown to be the toughest test for the Cavaliers. The problem is that they still can’t really challenge them, what’s even more alarming is that other teams in the east seem to be passing them by.

The Boston Celtics have made big moves this summer by adding Gordon Hayward and drafting stud forward Jayson Tatum – not to mention that they should have Kyrie Irving officially on the roster soon too.

At the same time the Washington Wizards, led by John Wall and Bradley Beal, are also a team that is trending in the right direction in the Eastern Conference. To summarize it all, the Raptors need to make a move to keep up. Adding a player the caliber of Jordan Clarkson will go a long way towards putting everyone on notice that they are still a force to be reckoned with.

With the losses of PJ Tucker and Patrick Patterson, their bench has taken a hit. If they can find a way to bring in a talented scorer like Clarkson it will go a long way towards taking the pressure off of both DeRozan and Lowry to do everything.
