Taking a look at three of the NBA’s youngest stars and their potential hall of fame comparisons

Comparing eras. The most sensitive of subjects when debating the National Basketball Association. Who would win in a series between the ’96 Bulls and the ’17 Warriors? Would Bill Russell get eaten alive playing center in todays NBA?

Due to rule changes, basketball evolution, and the lack of available time machines, this is impossible to truly figure out. However, despite never getting down to the answer, it never fails to entertain us with arguments and statements made supporting one side or the other.

You can use statistical based research and in-game footage to show similarities and trends between two players, regardless of the era they played in. That is what this piece is all about. I picked three young studs (rookie & sophomore years completed) and compared them to their Hall of Fame doppelgänger.

I am by no means saying these three guys will end up trumping the careers of their counterparts, I am pointing out the eye-popping similarities they each have during their first and second year of playing in the league. The results will make your imagination run wild.
