2. Kevin Durant, Golden State Warriors

Winning a ring last year solidified KD at the two spot on this list. He has always been an unstoppable bucket getter, but this past season he has taken more pride on the defensive end than in years past. No one, and I mean no one, can stop Durant defensively one on one. He is the greatest scorer in our league to date. And he knows this.

To further his game, he has said in multiple interviews that the next step for him to take is to be a defensive stopper, which then would result into winning rings. It doesn’t hurt to be on a team with Steph, Klay, and Draymond either.

Kevin Durant’s move to join the Warriors was slamming the door shut on one chapter of his life, and moving on to the next. He has proven what he can do on an individual level, now the next step for building his legacy is titles. Plural. And it looks as though he has set a solid foundation on doing just that. I am as big of a fan as any when it comes to the next guy on this list, but Kevin Durant is not as far from him as you think.
