The Atlanta Hawks have been one of the most consistent teams in the NBA in recent years. They may not have won an NBA championship or even made the NBA Finals over the last decade, but they’ve been extremely reliable.
This recent run of success was highlighted by the 2014-15 team that won 60 games and made the Conference Finals in the Eastern Conference.
But, since that point, the Hawks have slowly been moving towards a rebuild.
New general manager Travis Schlenk is embracing a youth movement and the current state of the roster reflects that. There is not a lot of talent but coach Mike Budenholzer has a habit of bringing out the best in his players.
