No offense LeBron, Kyrie Irving just wants to make a name for himself
Don’t take it personally Cleveland, Kyrie Irving just wants to make a name for himself
Even though it’s starting to cool off within the worldwide powerhouse media outlets, it’s not doing that so much when it comes to the fans on social media.
Kyrie Irving decided to leave Cleveland (leave via trade request) this offseason, but now he’s receiving the backlash of not doing the proper due diligence by thanking LeBron James on his way out.
Some are even claiming Irving is wrong for not even asking LeBron for his opinion.

Let me first say this, Kyrie did not have to tell LeBron anything. Why? Well, first and foremost, they are both grown men. That above all else should be the key point. However, that does not seem to be enough for some people.
Some still feel Kyrie did wrong by LeBron. Some feel he ditched Cleveland. Some believe LeBron constantly carried him in any big game. Well sorry, Irving is an exceptional player as of late and he deserves to be able to bask in the glory. That is all he is doing.
If you are a LeBron James fan and you believe Irving was in the wrong, I hate to say it, but you are being hypocritical. Where was LeBron’s talk with the players the first time he left Cleveland and the Cavaliers organization? Sure, you could claim there was nobody worth talking to on that team. I could understand that. But what I can’t understand is this any different than LeBron leaving Dwyane Wade?
When LeBron went back to Cleveland to make his return, there was no checking with Wade (reportedly). There was no gathering his opinion.
At the very least one could point a finger at LeBron and say, “here is a taste of your own medicine.”
There is no need to hold Kyrie negatively accountable for what he did. He made a basketball decision.
