NBA: Ranking every starting shooting guard heading into 2017-18
By Tony Webb
26. Kent Bazemore- Atlanta Hawks
Bazemore is solid enough to be a starter in the league, but doesn’t shine at any aspect of the game. He had a slight drop off last season from the year before. Bazemore has abilities to get to the rim, but is a streaky shooter. With Atlanta looking for someone to score points for them this season, Bazemore will need to step up.
25. Danny Green- San Antonio Spurs
Don’t get me wrong, I like Danny Green. He has had some unforgettable NBA finals game, but he is now 30 years old and his best years are behind him. Green has now shot less than 40% 3FG the last two seasons and doesn’t facilitate offense through passing or rebounding. Green’s success depends on his shooting.
