Giannis Anetokounmpo is already an NBA star, but this season he is ready to take the next step into becoming a superstar for the Milwaukee Bucks

At just 22 years old, Giannis is one of the best players in the NBA and arguably the best player under 23. Every year he has played in the league he has gotten substantially better, both in numbers and on the court performance.

His most recent campaign, the 2016-17 season, the Greek Freak put up staggering numbers, Averaging 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals, as well as a sub 105 DRTG. He was one of the all-around best players in the NBA this past season. He’s just incredible.

With his numbers increasing every season, and sometimes dramatically, it only makes sense for them to go up again this year. Not only is he getting better, but his team is, which makes things a lot easier.

Last year, Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon helped Giannis a lot, especially on rotations at the perimeter defensively. Giannis and Brogdon are only gonna improve, so on both ends of the ball, the freak will be able to benefit.

With all his stats consistently going up, we could see Anetokoumpo in the MVP race as well. The East is going to be really bad this year, so Milwaukee should be able to at the very least get the 6th seed. With Giannis most likely going to average close to a triple-double paired with the elite defense, he should be a shoe-in for the top five in voting.

The combination of him improving every season along with the talent of his team expanding, Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks should be in for an incredible season.
