Marvin Williams came into the league with a lot of expectations. He was the second-overall selection in the 2005 NBA Draft out of the University of North Carolina. He was taken ahead of two future All-Stars in Chris Paul and Deron Williams. While he has shaken off the expectations, Williams has become a serviceable stretch-four in Charlotte.
