NBA: Power ranking every starting power forward entering 2017-18
18. Marcus Morris – Boston Celtics*
Marcus Morris was traded this offseason to a very busy Boston Celtics team. In a summer where many big names were moved, Morris was caught in the crossfires. Morris has had a decent career thus far. He has made a name for himself by being a consistent contributor to team success. He crashes the boards well on both ends and is also a threat to punish defenses from behind the three-point line. He is a great addition to the new-look Boston Celtics.
*Subject to change if Boston elects to play small
17. Derrick Favors – Utah Jazz
Derrick Favors came into the NBA with a big potential. He entered the league bolstering a 6-foot ten-inch frame along with supreme athleticism. He wreaked havoc against opponents at Georgia Tech and looked to do the same in the NBA. However, he has not been able to transfer the success he had in college to the pros. Favors has been a serviceable player, averaging around double figures in points as well as decent rebounding numbers. Favors has been in the league for almost 7 years and is only 26 years-old. He could still tap into the potential NBA executives lusted over.
