In the fourth of a 6-part series, we rank the 30 starting centers entering the 2017-18 NBA season

The 2017-18 NBA season is officially here. As we continue our NBA Player Ranking series, we rank every team’s starting center.

30. Zaza Pachulia, Golden State Warriors

Zaza Pachulia, who had his fair share of ups and downs throughout the course of last season, will once again get the starting nod at center for the Golden State Warriors.

On the surface, Pachulia might not seem like a dependable starting center. Although, Pachulia is still a deadly screen-setter, a capable post defender and a solid mid-range jump shooter (for a center).

At the same time, there’s a reason why he’s No. 30 on this list. He lacks explosiveness and speed to play significant minutes in an era where mobile big man is essential.
