Taking a deeper look at the five most interesting teams heading into the 2017-18 NBA season

The 2017-18 NBA season is upon us.

After what will go down as one of the most controversial and busiest offseasons in NBA history, there’s unlimited storylines ahead of the new league year.

Tonight, the next chapter of the Association begins. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics will tip us off, which couldn’t be more of a perfect matchup after the two teams swapped Kyrie Irving and Isaiah Thomas during the summer.

The night will end with the Golden State Warriors raising their championship banner in front of the new-look Houston Rockets, which now features arguably the best backcourt in the NBA after trading for Chris Paul.
