What are the best storylines to follow during the 2017-18 NBA season?

The NBA has become one of the most if not the most drama filled professional sports league, when it comes to on the court happenings. With the new NBA season now at the forefront, what will be the best NBA storylines to follow this season?

We preview a few of them.

The Russell Westbrook Saga

Still the most hated move in the NBA today is Kevin Durant leaving Russell Westbrook and Oklahoma City to join Golden State. After winning his first MVP last year, and showing how good he is, the drama is only gonna continue to heat up, especially with these two teams going at it head-to-head.

More from Sir Charles In Charge

What’s going to make it even better, is now Russell has a competent team. It still is nowhere near close to level of the Warriors, but it should keep the games much closer, and then maybe Russell can take over.

Kyrie Irving and Isaiah Thomas vs. the Cavaliers/Celtics

Both of players were traded for each other, and now both have vendettas against their former teams. This is going to make whenever these two Eastern Conference powers play even more exciting. Also, the fact that this will most likely be our conference final match up? I can’t wait, both as a Boston fan and NBA fan.

Can Joel Embiid Stay Healthy?

Joel Embiid has shown to live up to all his hype when he plays. Although, that’s been a bit of a challenge for him during his first few years of his career. Having only played 31 games in three years, his biggest questions revolves around health. Can he stay healthy this year? Only time will tell, but when he is healthy he is one of the best young prospects in the NBA.

Is Lonzo Ball As Good As His Dad Says He Is?

No one know’s the answer to the question, and frankly we most likely won’t know until year two or three of his NBA career. One thing is for sure, both ends of the spectrums, the lovers and haters of Lonzo will jump to instant conclusions within the first quarter of the NBA season.

Are We Going to Get Cleveland vs. Golden State IV?

Are we going to have a boxing match series for the history here? I don’t know. This is still the favored matchup for the NBA Finals again this year, but anything can happen. The Cavaliers have definitely shaken up a little bit, so it will be interesting to see how this pans out.
