Taking a peek at the 10 next potential generational players already in or about to enter the NBA

“Generational Player” is a term that is constantly overused. The term “Generational Player” should not be used when describing a player who is an NBA All-Star numerous times. It shouldn’t even be used to describe a player who is a definite lock for the Hall of Fame. The term “Generational Player” should be used when describing a player who has changed the game of basketball and will forever be remembered as one of the Greatest of All Time.

NBA players that are considered “Generational Players” include Larry Bird and Magic Johnson from the 80s, Michael Jordan from the late 80s/early 90s, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and Shaq from the 2000s and now  LeBron James and Stephen Curry. All players that were just listed will forever be considered “Generational Players” because they were leaders, winners, and somehow in their own way, changed the game of basketball forever.

After hours of research, I came up with a list of 10 players (who still are light years away from their prime) who have the potential to become that next “Generational Player”. The list includes NBA, College, and High School players who are at LEAST five years or more away from their prime).
