Luka Doncic, SG/SF

Real Madrid

Age: 18

The 2018 NBA Draft is still many months away, but if you do pay attention to the Draft, you probably have heard of the name Luka Dončić pop into the conversation. Dončić is an 18-year-old Slovenian baller who currently plays in the EuroLeague (arguably the best professional basketball league in the world after the NBA).

Dončić currently plays for the Real Madrid basketball team in the EuroLeague. At 6-foot-8 and weighing in at 218, he can play the guard position as well the three position in small forward. He can shoot very well but is known for his overall playmaking and facilitating. Dončić is more known as the floor general whoc na do about anything and chip in to all parts of that stat sheet rather than just one category.

Luka Dončić is set to enter the Draft this season which is completely loaded with talented prospects. Donik is currently projected to be a top three pick in which he is competing with Duke Freshman Marvin Bagley and Missouri Freshman Michael Porter Jr.

Once Dončić makes the NBA (going off the fact that he enters the 2018 Draft), he will bring a great European fan base which can help change the game more than ever. If Luka Dončić can thrive in the NBA and make an make an eventual impact as an All-Star/Hall of Famer would, down the road, he should be inc overation of being considered a “Generational Player”.
