The Brooklyn Nets are fun again

The Nets have also gotten production from a place they surely didn’t expect to. Rookie Jarrett Allen has provided a spark off the bench in limited minutes. He scored 9 points in his NBA debut against the Magic and he showcased his defensive potential with 4 blocks against the Hawks.
Allen projects as an impact defender and a vertical threat in the pick-and-roll game.
He already has the ability to deter opponents at the rim and cover in space. On multiple occasions he has showed impressive footwork when switched onto a smaller player on the perimeter.
He has also displayed his offensive capabilities.
At just 19 years old, Allen is a very raw prospect with a lot of talent and room to grow. He will definitely be a part of the Nets’ future and I am looking forward to watching him develop.
