NBA Rookie Ladder: Ben Simmons and an unlikely Laker steal the headlines
By Erez Maman
9. Bogdan Bogdanovic, Sacramento Kings
Stats: 10.0 points, 46% FG
I would love to lie to all of you and say that I’ve been following Bogdanovic ever since he was a young 20 year old playing in Fenerbache. But truthfully, I can’t.
Through his first few games in the NBA, he’s been impressive. Bogdanovic entered the NBA with a ton of hype, thanks in large part because of what he’s done in Europe. He’s a 6-foot-6 shooting guard with a quick release, a smooth stroke and a high basketball IQ.
He hasn’t had that breakout game just yet but he’s been very consistent after not playing in the team’s first three games. His experience playing overseas has really polished his game, and he could end up being a poor man’s Klay Thompson if his potential maxes out.
