Three college basketball teams to watch if interested in scouting NBA prospects

College basketball is on the horizon. Usually, the college team with the most NBA talent doesn’t actually win the title, but for the guys who solely intend to watch college hoops to look at future NBA players, here are three teams to keen in on.

Duke

A usual powerhouse, and a school I am sure most of you guys are familiar with. Duke has no shortage of possible NBA talent again this season as always. With players like Marvin Bagley, Trevon Duval, Grayson Allen, Gary Trent and Wendell Carter, there is a slew of players that will be trying to impress scouts this season.

Duke also plays in the ACC which is always one of the better if not the best college basketball conferences as far as teams go and talent.

Kentucky

Again, like Duke, they’re LOADED this year. They contain most likely one and done players like Hamidou Diallo, Nick Richards, Kevin Knox and PJ Washington. They also have guys coming in like Shai Alexander, Quade Green, Jared Vanderbilt and Jemari Baker who will certainly be NBA prospects within the next few years if not this year.

Kentucky also has Sacha Killeya-Jones who was a five-star recruit in high school and saw no playing time last year at Kentucky. Yea, they’re loaded.

Arizona

Arizona is making their mark lately with NBA talent with recent lottery guys Lauri Markkanen and Stanley Johnson. They’re only getting better, though. They have some really, really good guys coming in this year.

De’Andre Ayton has seen mock drafts have him go as high as top five. They also have guys like Brandon Randolph and Emmanuel Akot coming in who could be immediate contributors on top of returning Allonzo Trier and Rawle Atkins. Not only do they have some of the best NBA talent this year, but they should be one of the best if not the team overall this year heading into the tournament combined with talent and experience.

This will also be a make break it year for Arizona has with recent allegations and violations, they could be in big trouble. They already lost No. 1 2018 PG Jahvon Quinerly and are trying to hold on to Shaq’s son, Shareef.

Shortlist Of Some Other Schools: Michigan St., Miami, Kentucky
