27. Dallas Mavericks

I’ve been somewhat surprised by the performance of the Dallas Mavericks so far this season. Heading into the year, I believed that there was a shot this team could mess around and flirt with a potential playoff spot out West.

Perhaps I was overestimating this team’s talent. Either way, the fact that they’ve only won two games this season is somewhat disappointing. The good news is that it appears Dennis Smith Jr., their first round draft pick, will be a player.

You can’t help but feel bad for Dirk Nowitzki.
