Philadelphia 76ers keep rolling; Fultz out another 2-3 weeks
As the Philadelphia 76ers continue to show improvements, Markelle Fultz has been ruled out another 2-3 weeks
The Philadelphia 76ers are 8-7, good enough for 8th in the Eastern Conference, and nearly beat the Golden State Warriors a couple days ago. There’s no question that this is a team that continues to get better by the day, hour and minute.
However, as the Sixers continue to take strides in their development, Markelle Fultz remains sidelined with a shoulder issue. And it’s now being reported that Fultz will miss a few more weeks, at least, before we see him again on the court.
After being re-evaluated, it was concluded that Fultz should sit out another 2-3 weeks. He will be re-evaluated after the next few weeks in order to find a new course of action.

"[via Sixers]The soreness is dissipating and the muscle balance is improving, and Fultz will continue with physiotherapy and begin progressing toward full basketball activities. Fultz will be re-evaluated in approximately two to three weeks."
Fultz has missed the last 11 games after struggling through the team’s first handful of games. It’s expected for Fultz to be out until at least Christmas, and it’s probably for the best. The Sixers don’t need to rush Fultz back.
On the court, the Sixers look better every time they lace up their sneakers. After losing four of their first five games, the Sixers have gone 7-3 in their last 10 games. Of those three losses, two came against the Golden State Warriors. Pretty impressive.
Furthermore, Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons have been absolutely playing out of their minds. During the month of November, Embiid is averaging 25 points, 12 rebounds and nearly three boards per contest. During that same span, Simmons is averaging 18 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. They’re also both shooting 50 percent from the field in doing so.

Even without Markelle Fultz in the lineup, the Sixers are doing just fine. Philly shouldn’t rush Fultz back on the court. When he’s healthy and is ready to return, any production that he can muster, in whatever role he accepts, would be a welcome sight for the Sixers.
