In honor of Thanksgiving, we go team by team and break down what every squad should be thankful for in 2017-18

The NBA’s holiday season is upon us. And up first, it’s Thanksgiving. Just as we do every season, we decided to go team by team to break down what every squad in the Association should be thankful for this holiday season.

Whether it’s still having LeBron James for at least one more season, or having a competent front office, every team in the league has at least one thing to be thankful for.

Without further ado, let’s begin.

Atlanta Hawks

What to be thankful for: Mike Budenholzer

Apart from an elite head coach, the Atlanta Hawks don’t have much more going for them as a franchise at the moment. If nothing else, the Hawks and its fans should be thankful that Budenholzer is still the team’s fearless leader.

The Hawks likely aren’t going to make the playoffs this season, and might not for a few years, but having a good head coach in the fold is a lot easier said than done.
