The Clippers are probably doomed

Here’s the thing…the Los Angeles Clippers, for almost as long as they’ve been in the NBA, have just been…not good. The Chris Paul era was their best, and even that was some frustrating times.

Ignoring off the court incidents, in the past several years, the Clippers have had one injury after another. These injuries have cost the team in playoff series after playoff series. This past offseason, I laughed as they acquired Danilo Gallinari, the often injured forward. It’s like the Clippers wanted the streak to continue.

Patrick Beverly is out for the season. Bright spot Milos Teodosic is still out. It’s just been bad so far.

Doc Rivers is on the hot seat as well. They’re recovering from an epic nine game losing streak. It’s just a mess and I don’t know. The team just always ends up screwed. The franchise as a whole is probably doomed. I would’ve told them to blow the roster up this past offseason, but most of their history has looked like a long rebuild. Now, they have a mediocre roster with a very talented star in Blake Griffin. Better get him some real help soon.
