We shouldn’t be surprised about the Thunder

Ball hog machines Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony coming together along with need-the-ball Paul George was not going to go smoothly. Were we expecting anything else? Look, the team is led by some nice talent, but they are not contenders. It wasn’t going to happen. Not yet.

But, with both George and Carmelo able to leave after the end of the season, there’s some pressure to make this work. Now. Missing the playoffs would be a shame, but I don’t see them higher than a fourth seed. Spurs, Warriors, and Rockets are easy choices for those three spots.

But, hey, it’s November (about to be December) so we still wait. They could turn things around.
