Friday, Dec 8 – Boston Celtics vs. San Antonio Spurs

TV: ESPN, 9:30 (ET)

Two of the NBA’s best coaches (Brad Stevens, Gregg Popovich) and most storied franchises clash this week as the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs get together on Friday night.

This game will feature the number one and three teams in defensive rating. The Spurs won’t have Kawhi Leonard so this matchup loses some luster but seeing two of the game’s best coaches as well as seeing how Popovich defends Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving is more than enough reasons to watch.

Plus, the Celtics and Spurs are arguably two of the five or six best teams in the NBA right now.
