In this week’s Sir Charles in Thought, the Phoenix Suns retire from the NBA, the Cavs are streaking and we ask the Russell Westbrook question

The 2017-18 NBA season has entered December. This is do or die now for the teams. Today, we’ll talk about the Suns retiring from basketball, Westbrook’s triple doubles, the Cavs’ winning streak, and the Clippers continued slide into oblivion.

The Phoenix Suns retire from the NBA

Watch this video and tell me the Suns didn’t just give up during the game.

Look at that. It’s like they just went to the bench. Or, like in shoot-around where they just stand under the rim looking for the boards instead of actually playing defense. Okay, so, it was obviously some miscommunication…or lack thereof. But, boy, that was pretty bad. The Suns simply looked like they didn’t want to anymore. It has been a rough start to the season. Maybe they checked out.

Or, maybe this is the first obvious sign that the NBA team is moving to Seattle.
