Marc Gasol, Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies are tied for the 4th worst record in the NBA at the moment, and they just fired their head coach. Mike Conley Jr. is expected to be out for a while still, and there isn’t any relief on the horizon.

That leaves Marc Gasol in an awkward situation. Gasol still has another season left on his contract after this one, but could be on board with a trade. The Grizzlies have exhausted this core, and it simply isn’t enough in the deep West.

If Memphis could get, say, the Brooklyn pick in exchange for Gasol with Cleveland, perhaps it’s a deal they should strongly consider. With that said, Gasol should only be moved for a big haul. No pressure on Memphis. After all, Gasol can still be moved next year.
