Brooklyn Nets

Well, Hayward’s injury is number one in terms of hard to watch. However, Jeremy Lin’s reaction to his injury continues to break my heart, and I hated Linsanity back in the day. D’Angelo Russell is also out with a knee injury.

The Nets, as of this writing, have played 29 games. No player has played in all of them. The two leading scorers for the season, Lin and Russell, are out. Granted, Lin only played in one game. But, still, he was projected to be a leading guy alongside Russell. It’s been rough. They’ve had ten of their players start in at least one game (and that one game is Lin’s).

The Nets were meant to be bad. They’ve actually played a little better than expected. But, this season is just another painful reminder of how they traded away all of their picks. But, hey, Jahlil Okafor could be the guy.
