LA Clippers

You knew this was coming. Come on, now. You knew this was coming. Out of all of the teams in the league, when considering not just this season, but plenty of past seasons, this team simply has a gift for getting injured. Injuries are nothing new around here.

Well, Danilio Galinari went down with an injury. Nobody shrugged. I mean, he’s been doing that for most of his career. No surprise. Milos Teodosic went down. The smooth “old” rookie with great court vision. Oh, don’t forget about Patrick Beverly who made Lonzo Ball feel right at home before going out for the whole season.

A couple of weeks ago, I said the Clippers were doomed. Little did I know, it would get worse. Blake Griffin went down with an injury. He’ll be back soon enough, but he’s constantly getting injured.

Sure, maybe the Clippers are just unlucky. It just so happens they grab injury prone players. Chris Paul went down often, too. Oh, but perhaps the basketball gods are still punishing the team thanks to a previous owner’s actions. Are the Clippers victims of karma? What’s going on, over there?

I’d be surprised if they made the playoffs and I’d expect a big shakeup either by the deadline or during the offseason.
