Chicago Bulls: To Find Their Backcourt of the Future

Chicago is 9-20, and is currently on a 6 game-winning streak. Somewhere, Sam Hinkie is rolling in his managerial grave, but credit must be given to Fred Hoiberg for making some pretty incredible lemonade out of some really sour lemons.

One of the biggest highlights of this winning streak has been one of my favorite young players in the league, Kris Dunn. If you click the link, you can find a glimpse of the potential Dunn has been flashing lately: http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nba/2621/kris-dunn

Zach LaVine isn’t supposed to come back until January, but he did average 18.9 PPG last season on a dysfunctional T-Wolves squad. The two of them together might make for quite the duo. Take that a step further, and between Dunn’s emergence, LaVine’s athleticism, and Markannen’s shooting – (and whoever they decide between Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic) the Bulls have a decent starting 5.

Are any of the players stars? No… not yet…. but they could be.
