Detroit Pistons: Remain in the homecourt hunt
After a rather up and down start to the season, the Detroit Pistons seem to have finally found themselves. They’ve steadied the ship and find themselves in the 5 spot out East.
The key for them will be continue their steady play as of late. Reggie Jackson will be out for around 6-8 weeks, so it’s crucial that Detroit tread water until his return. That’ll require stellar outputs from the likes of Bradley, Harris and Drummond.
It’s probable that for Detroit to have a chance of reaching the second round of the playoffs, they’d have to lock up homecourt advantage. It’ll be tight come season’s end, but it’s crucial they remain in the hunt for the time being.
If they can remain steady for the next month or two, they’ll be in great position to make one last push for the 4 seed upon Jackson’s return.
