Detroit Pistons

Making a bold move at the trade deadline

After a hot start to the season, the Detroit Pistons have cooled off quite a bit in recent weeks. The Pistons are currently tied for the 6th seed in the East, but are playing like a .500 team over the last couple of weeks.

In fairness, a big part of that is the loss of Reggie Jackson, who is still expected to miss quite a bit of time. Question is, should the Pistons take a shot and make a bold move at the trade deadline?

Stan Van Gundy has never been shy about making a huge move; that’s how he landed Avery Bradley and Tobias Harris the last few seasons. But such a move could also backfire. It’s a difficult decision for SVG and Detroit.
