Atlanta Hawks

Is it time to trade Kent Bazemore?

The Atlanta Hawks currently have the worst record in the NBA, and will likely finish wit ha top 3 pick when this season is officially in the books. With this team on the fast track to nowhere, it begs the question, should this team trade their veteran assets? Specifically, Kent Bazemore?

Bazemore would likely net the Hawks a first-round pick on the open market, not huge. Although, they would be able to add an extra first-rounder in what many perceive to be a strong draft and they would receive some salary relief, as Bazemore is $18 million next season and possibly $19 million the year after (player option).

This is a conversation that is probably ongoing inside that organization, and will be the biggest storyline over the next few weeks, and possible into the summer.
