Utah Jazz

What will the Derrick Favors decision be?

Derrick Favors will be a free agent after the season, and the Utah Jazz need to decide whether they’re going to invest money in him or not. If they are, then they’ll likely need to do some cap adjusting. You don’t want upwards of $50 million invested in Rudy Gobert, Favors and Joel Ingles.

If the Jazz are OK with moving on from Favors, then perhaps it would be smart to shop him at the trade deadline.

Even if they don’t get a ton in return, anything would be good considering that it’s better than just letting him walk in a few months.
