Predicting the Western Conference playoff picture at the midway point of the 2017-18 NBA season. Will these be the eight teams?

At the halfway point of the season, in the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors appear to have a serious challenger for their title as well as some new challengers.

At the start of the season, it appeared that Golden State was virtually unbeatable and that they would have a cake walk to the NBA Finals, once again. However, the Houston Rockets, when healthy, have the looks of a real threat.

You also can’t count out the San Antonio Spurs who, when healthy, can play with any team in the league.

At the midway point of the 2017-18 NBA season, we predict what the Western Conference playoff picture will look like at the end of the season.
