Mitchell Robinson’s stock is rising without even playing?

It sounds crazy right? Sadly, it’s true. Mitchell Robinson started out at 34 on the first big board, and has just kept moving up. Robinson tried to play in the G-League, but was ruled ineligible. Since Robinson was never ruled ineligible by the NCAA, and just decided to leave Western Kentucky he’s not allowed to join the G-League.

Robinson’s draft stock hasn’t gone up by any raving draft writers or agents watching him work out either. His stock is rising because after the big men in the top five, Robinson starts to become your only option in the mid first round.

As high valued players to start the season like Robert Williams, Nick Richards, and even Kevin Knox continue to kill their draft stock, and taking a risk on Mitchell Robinson doesn’t sound like such a bad idea anymore.
