2018 NBA Power Rankings: It’s time to sell on the Cleveland Cavaliers
30. Atlanta Hawks (11-31)
As the NBA trade deadline draws near, the Atlanta Hawks have to think hard about their future – what type of rebuild do they envision over the next few seasons, and how long it’ll take. If the answer to that is complete and long, it’s time they begin to trade some of their assets.
And that begins with one Kent Bazemore, who is having a solid season in Atlanta. Bazemore is a player that could help a contender in need of some bench depth. The good thing is that Atlanta could likely flip Bazemore for a good pick or two, perhaps two first-round picks. You never know.
The Hawks are in for a long second half, but they should be compensated with a top 3 pick in a very good draft.
