9. Washington Wizards (25-18)
Even though the Washington Wizards have been up and down this season, talent usually wins out in the NBA. And that means that when it’s all said and done, the Wizards will likely be a top 4 seed in the East.
Right now, though, they’re simply not playing at the level that they should be playing at. Right now, they’re a .500 team. They’re struggling in crunch time and don’t really have any flexibility ahead of the trade deadline.
The Wizards will make the playoffs and will likely have homecourt in the first round, but they leave a lot to be desired at the moment.
