2. Boston Celtics (34-10)

When Gordon Hayward went down with a gruesome injury minutes into the 2017-18 season, many had to adjust their expectations for the Boston Celtics.

Instead of possibly challenging the Cleveland Cavaliers to come out of the East, many thought that Boston would be luck to be a top 4 team in the East. Roughly three months later, the Boston Celtics have the best record in the East, and are only half a game back of the Golden State Warriors for the best mark in the NBA.

I’m still not sure what to make of the Celtics, or if they can even be a legit contender in the East, but this season has sure been fun for the fans in Boston.
