NBA Trade Rumors: Breaking down one dream target for every contender as the NBA trade deadline draws near

With the NBA’s February 8th deadline fast approaching and crunch time looming, the time is now for the contenders to make moves. However, it is safe to assume that not every contender will be aggressive working the phones.

Some have no reason to make a change and others simply are too stacked and have an almost unfair talent advantage, looking at you Golden State. Others lack the assets to make a splash. But many of the league’s general managers are already working feverishly, scouring the market for both minor tweaks and drastic overhauls in order to equip their teams with the best chance to capture the Larry O’Brien trophy.

I have listed the four contenders in each conferences and recommended players that they can target to put them over the top.
