7. Indiana Pacers/Detroit Pistons

The Indiana Pacers are cureently the 6th seed in the East, but I honestly don’t think they have much of a chance to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs. The biggest reason why being that they don’t have the depth to keep going at the Cavs.

The Pacers have a top 10 offense, which is almost a necessity to beat Cleveland. But, their defense is middle-of-the-pack good and their lack of depth would show in a 7-game series against one of the East’s most talented rosters.

The Pistons fall into this same category. In the even that they squeak into the playoffs, the Pistons don’t have the firepower to beat Cleveland. Their offense ranks 21st in the league, and unless a trade is coming I wouldn’t give them much of a shot in a long series.
