5. Philadelphia 76ers

This might seem a bit controversial, but when healthy the Philadelphia 76ers are one of the most dangerous teams in the East. They can beat any team on any given night, and have the talent to stick with the best of the best.

Specifically, when Joel Embiid is healthy and playing at a high level, this team has something that can’t be matched by many other teams in the league – including the Cleveland Cavaliers. Add in a potentially healthy Markelle Fultz, and this team could be hitting its stride at just the right time in a hypothetical first round matchup with the Cavs.
