Cavs Get: DeAndre Jordan, Lou Williams

Clippers Get: Tristan Thompson, Channing Frye, Ante Zizic, First Round Pick

This deal may seem like an impossible feat, but assuming that the LA Clippers are ready to blow it up it can happen. Though, it’s going to cost the Cleveland Cavaliers. In this hypothetical deal, the Cavs would have to part ways with Tristan Thompson, Channing Frye’s expiring deal, a promising young big and a future first round pick.

If it takes two picks to get this deal done, the Cavs should do it. If they can keep the Brooklyn pick in the process, all power to them.

But this deal would help the Cavs’ interior defense and rebounding, while giving them an exploding perimeter scorer – something they’ve been missing since Kyrie Irving was shipped to Boston.

Cleveland could roll out a lineup of Lou Williams-J.R. Smith-LeBron James-Kevin Love-DeAndre Jordan. It’s worth a shot.
