2018 NBA Power Rankings: Where every team stands ahead of the trade deadline
20. Charlotte Hornets (20-28)
Michael Jordan came out and said that he isn’t planning on trading Kemba Walker. With that said, it would be foolish for the team to not, at the very least, listen to offers. The Hornets are in a bad spot at the moment.
They have a ton of expensive, bad contracts and aren’t a bad enough team to land a high enough draft pick to make a real difference in the immediate future. They’re in NBA purgatory.
If the Hornets don’t blow it up now, they will in the near future. It’s up to them. Do it now, or more painfully later.
