2018 NBA Power Rankings: Where every team stands ahead of the trade deadline
5. Minnesota Timberwolves (32-20)
The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of those teams that just seem to get stronger and stronger as the season unwinds. The Wolves are in striking distance of the San Antonio Spurs for the third seed in the West, and with Kawhi Leonard still injured it wouldn’t be surprised to see Thibodeau’s bunch make the jump.
The Wolves are a team that should be on the lookout for a player or two at the deadline. For example, if the Clippers decide to sell of their assets, a player like Lou Williams could be a nice addition.
