Taking a deeper dive into five rookies who are beginning to figure it out

We live in a league where young players are given up on almost immediately if they don’t produce right out of the gate. For example, the Orlando Magic traded Tobias Harris and Victor Oladipo for basically nothing a couple years into their career.

Now, both are thriving in their new environments, and the Magic are a pile of garbage.

This year’s rookie class has seen some hits and some misses like any draft. These five rookies, in particular, had a slow start, but are slowly starting to figure it out.

Hopefully, their teams don’t give up on them because each has potential. Some you may have forgotten about because they play in the darkness of teams like Phoenix. Allow me to shed some light on these players and show you why these players are well on their way to be productive NBA players.
